She specializes in both early and contemporary music. Her repertoire comprises the most important oratorios and masses by J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, W.A. Mozart, J. Haydn and a large number of 17th and 18th century opera parts.
As a member of Capella Cracoviensis Vocal Ensemble, a considerable part of her professional life consist of singing music from Josquin Desprez to Arvo Pärt. She extends her repertoire by singing Lieder recitals.
Born in Bialystok, Poland, Helena started her musical education there, playing the piano and singing in vocal ensembles. In 2008, she graduated with distinction from the Vocal/Theatrical Department of the Academy of Music in Krakow. Since then, she has continued to develop her vocal skills, studying with Prof. Ingrid Kremling, as well as by taking part in masterclasses with Jard van Nes, Jill Feldman, Charles Daniels, Claire Lefilliatre, Jan van Elsacker, Kai Wessel and Vincent Dumestre.
As a chamber musician and soloist she performed in major concert series and festivals in Poland, Norway, Italy, Belgium, France, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic. She shared the concert platform with conductors such as Andrew Parrott, Paul McCreesh, Konrad Junghänel and Vincent Dumestre. In 2017 she will take part in series of concerts in Germany, Holland and France with Collegium Vocale Gent under Philippe Herreweghe.
