Superb, world-renowned American tenor Jeffrey Thompson resides permanently in France. He studied at Cincinnati Conservatory in the studio of William McGrew, and is a winner of the Belgian Concours International de Chant Baroque de Chimay.
Since 2002, Jeffrey Thompson has been collaborating with Les Arts Florissants, with which he has made concert tours around Europe, and taken part in performances of such works as Handel’s Acis and Galatea and Hercules, and Charpentier’s David et Jonathas. His repertoire is comprised of roles in operas by Cavalli, Rameau, Purcell, Philidor, Gretry, Handel, Leclair and Lully. He has performed at concert halls and on opera stages all over Europe, as well as in the United States.
