Caroline Weynants studied singing (in Greta de Reyghere’s class) and chamber music (under Jean-Pierre Peuvion) at the Royal Conservatory of Liège, Belgium. She had the opportunity to learn both contemporary repertoire, as well as early music.
She performs at the largest festivals and records under the direction of the greatest figures of the international musical world, accompanied by the best European ensembles, such as La Fenice (Jean Tubéry), Les Agrémens (Guy Van Waas), Il Fondamento (Paul Dombrecht), Il Gardellino (Marcel Ponseele and Jan de Winne), Vox Luminis (Lionel Meunier), Correspondances (Sébastien Daucé), Cappella Mediterranea (Leonardo Garcia Alarcon).
Since 1998, the artist has been an active member of the Namur Chamber Choir, where she collaborated with conductors like M. Minkowski, S. Kuijken, J. Tubéry, J-C. Malgloire, G. Van Waas, F. Bernius, P. Dombrecht, P. Davin, Ph. Pierlot and L. Garcia Alarcon. She regularly performs solo parts.
